who's caught what out match lake ??

lol hagz,
I weighed in a 6 1/2 in a match at old axe near us when junior
Bloody thing scared the sh1t out me,but then got 2nd place due to it,lol

Heard of biiger ones out of it later too!!!

Big eels are not common now in rivers lakes here,shame remember catchin LOADS on the axe when a kid.

heard of big eels in spec too

I caught my "anaconda" in a lake where the fish are free of the parasite that is killing off the eel population there are some really huge eels in there over 8lbs i think

Just to keep you up to date - 3 guys fished the Match lake yesterday (12 March ) and had about 75lbs of bream between them. Fished hard to start with in the first couple of hours, then it gradually improved. The fish are already covered in tubercules as if ready for spawning soon.....

sounds like this mild weather has got them started!!
best get down soon were they fishing feeders as i ve had a few on pole last time was good fun :-)

I always have problem when go into fishing lock up which gear to take,lol

carp or match


......................Usually match but really do need to start using me carp gear :-(

Good fun catching them on 2k worth pole tho and .12 line
