Fish Capture Analysis 2011 - 2012 - baz - 02-04-12
Hi guys. This is a simplified analysis of the catches put onto the Catch Report Sheets in the members shed, but not everyone puts their catches on the record. This doesn't help keep a track on our stock, so please do so in future. Ta. The figures are from April '11 to May '12 (12 months).
~Total number of captures = 229; Captures of Commons = 189 (82%); Mirrors = 39 (18%); Grass = 1.
~60 captures were of NAMED fish over 20lbs. (26%). ~40 captures were of fish over 20lbs but were either not identified as named fish, or were unnamed. (19%). ~26 captures were of fish weighing in at 18 or 19lbs (11%). 99 captures (43%) were of fish weighing less than 18lbs; of these 6 captures weighed less than 10lbs.
~As l said, a simple version. I have numbers of fish caught from each peg and number of repeat captures of named fish, plus other info - too much for this space. Just get in touch. cheers. baz
